Story
Tim and Sarah Miller moved to Sarasota, Florida in 2001. Initially working in the restaurant industry, Tim had a vision for a furniture store that would provide handcrafted furniture to Southwest Florida. The furniture would be sourced from Tim’s childhood home – Holmes County, Ohio. This dream became a reality, in 2002, with a 3,000 sq. foot store on Beneva Road. The first few years every aspect of the operation was run by the Miller family. Tim transported the furniture from Ohio, Sarah handled the sales, Jaimie organized the office, and every able body reported for delivery duties. While many things have changed over the years (e.g., the store has added locations, expanded the showroom size, and hired additional employees), some things have not. The Miller’s remain committed to the original vision of providing customers with handcrafted furniture, honest pricing, and joyful customer service. As the next generation steps in with fresh energy and a shared passion for quality furniture, Miller’s now continues the legacy under a new name: Miller Haus Furniture.
This subtle change reflects the company’s growth, while honoring the past and shaping a strong, sustainable future. This update isn’t a rebrand; it’s a refinement. It’s building on the foundation the Miller family has created for the last 23 years.
