Ken Thompson Park
If you are birdwatcher, nature photographer, fisherman or a boater, this little place is Paradise. In season, you can see nesting great blue herons, cormorants, a family of ospreys, snowy egrets, ibises, night-herons. Brown pelicans come to rest for the night, too. The park itself is surrounded by majestic Australian Pine Trees. There is a playground for kids and a picnic area. Squirrels are so friendly; they might share lunch with you.
