Monica Galfre and her husband Jorge Rysko, the owners of beloved Silver City Sarasota, opened Diamond Bay Jewelers, a fine jewelry store in Osprey, FL. Jorge Rysko is a Swiss trained watchmaker. They both have more than 30 years of experience in jewelry business. Before Sarasota, they owned fine jewelry store in Alberta, Canada.
At thirteen years old… Monica couldn’t have dreamt up what her first jewelry retail job would turn into. Diamond Bay Jewelers is a family jeweler, where they offer full-service in-house repairs of watches and jewelry with a state-of-the art laser. Customers will also be able to have their jewelry and watches professionally appraised by a GIA certified gemologist. Galfre also said that non-traditional stones and many semi-precious stones are gaining in popularity. “Topaz has become increasingly popular as a less expensive choice.
