Founded by Darci Jacob, a passionate advocate for inclusivity in fashion, Darci’s Boutique started as a small shop with a big dream: to create a space where everyone could find something that fits perfectly and feels right. Over the years, they’ve grown in size and scope, but their core values remain the same. They believe that everyone deserves to dress with confidence and express their personal style. Their clothing is casual to black tie and everything in between. They carry sizes 0 to 22. Fashion isn’t just fun; it should instill confidence and help empower women to feel great.
Darci Andris Jacob, the owner of Darci boutique, has a long history here in Sarasota in retail business. She was the store manager at Cache for 20 years, opening Southgate store in 1997. Then, Cache opened its store in the UTC mall in October. However, the company closed its doors in April 2015. It was an opportunity for Darci to open Panache in October 2015 with a business partner until their lease was up in September 2020. Instead of closing the doors, Darci decided to go out on her own and continue wardrobing the fabulous women of Sarasota.
Darci is on the board for SPARCC. She is the auxiliary treasury. She has been the fashion chair for SPARCC on the runway since 2017. She is on the board for BBBS and is the co-chair of their fashion show (since 2016). Darci loves giving back to all charities.
Darci also does all types of fashion shows. The boutique carries Frank Lyman, Tribal, Clara Sun Woo, Jess and Jane, Last Tango, Mesmerize, Elliot Lauren, Eva Varro, Adore, AZI, Liverpool, Jeff Lieb, and more.
