Burns Gallery on Palm
Open since November 2009, Burns Gallery on Palm (530 Burns Gallery) is an intimate contemporary art gallery. Previously located beneath the banyan tree in Burns Court, it moved to historic Palm Avenue.
The unique space features a diverse group of talented fine artists including mixed media, abstract, glass, wood sculptors, and jewelry designers. The gallery is constantly evolving, showcasing fresh regional and national talent, and displaying new, innovative work through monthly exhibitions. The team at Burns Gallery on Palm is incredibly passionate about helping people find a piece that will be cherished for years to come.
Operating the gallery as a mother-daughter team, Nikki & Montana has a mutual and deep appreciation for contemporary art in its different mediums. With a family background in the arts, Nikki has made her living in pursuing her passion in creating art jewelry for the last 35 years. Montana brings her communications, marketing and business administration skills as a graduate of the University of Florida’s prestigious college of Journalism and Communications. Together their skills and talents complement each other, and they both have an innate eye for style, color and texture. Burns Gallery on Palm was created with the intention to present the work of artisans from around the world in a gallery venue. Along their frequent and extensive international travels, Nikki and Montana are always looking for the best and brightest in the industry with a unique approach to their art in various mediums. Montana is also Realtor Sales Associate at Premier Sotheby’s International Realty at Sarasota – Downtown Office.
