Artfinity was founded in 1998 by Miguel Figueras, a former Marketing Director with Arthur Andersen Technologies. Miguel had worked closely with graphic designers, professional photographers and other digital image specialists; he observed that digital imaging and wide-format printing technologies were rapidly becoming better and more affordable. He saw an opportunity to provide these services to artists, photographers and the general public, and thus Artfinity was born. Starting in a small office on St. Armand’s Circle, Artfinity has grown and expanded over the years as services were added. We now operate out of our 4,000sq/ft facility in Sarasota Fl. In 2025 Miguel retired and the business was sold to Eric Austin, an employee of over 20 years.
Eric Austin joined Artfinity in 2001 and has been an essential part of our creative team ever since. A graduate of the East Coast School of Photography, Eric built his career as a professional photographer with a passion for portraiture, nature, aerial, and commercial photography. His deep understanding of digital imaging and Photoshop has also led him to teach and share his knowledge with others. In addition to his photography background, Eric is a highly skilled custom picture framer, combining technical precision with an artist’s eye to ensure every piece he works on is beautifully presented.
From the beginning, Artifinity’s mission has been to provide digital imaging and museum quality printing at a reasonable price. Over the years Artfinity has grown to occupy a 4000 sq. ft. facility that provides a one-stop destination for digital imaging, fine art and photo printing, and custom framing.
