Art Collectors Treasure
Private collector of international art is offering a part of his pieces of art for sale. He hopes you can enjoy it the way he enjoyed together with his wife.
“All my life I was traveling worldwide. I love all kinds of art. Whenever I and my wife fell in love with a piece of art and we could afford it, we purchased it. Not to speculate, but to enjoy it. It was the art that I became a close friend of European artists. I decided to buy some of their works trying to introduce them to the American Market. I invested the money being convinced that these paintings and sculptures would very fast find the interest of US art lovers.”

Available artists and their works include:
Rodolfo Viola
He was born in Milan in 1937 where he started painting at a very young age and made his debut in 1963 with his first solo show at the Galleria Schettini.
From the end of the sixties he began the search for an ideal universal language, through the union of the arts, capable of reaching the purest essence of man. This concept was defined in 1971 with the drafting of the Manifesto of Universalism, in which Giuseppe Marotta, Peter Maag, Carlo Mauri and Franco Zeffirelli took part. The Municipality of Montecatini wrote another step of this path, with the institution, in 1974, of the “Museum of Universalism: from Rodolfo Viola to the future”, now become Museum of Contemporary Art with headquarters in the Palazzo Comunale which still houses his paintings.
On 7 February 1979 he received the international prize “La Madonnina”, together with the poet Giovanni Testori, the industrialist Bruno Buitoni and the Nobel prize winner Godfrey Hounsfield.
Deeply linked to his city, in 1986 he was among the artists called to create a work for the celebration of the 6th Centenary of the foundation of the Milan Cathedral, a work that will then be chosen to represent the celebratory manifesto.
Critics who write about his painting include André Verdet (Picasso scholar) and Pierre Restany (founder of the Nouveau Realisme) who present two of the monographs dedicated to him.
Significant, in 1969, the issue by the Republic of San Marino of a series of stamps dedicated to him, reproducing three of his works (view of Mount Titano, view of the pier in Riccione, view of the pier in Rimini), now housed in the Government Palace of San Marino.
His works have been exhibited in Italian and foreign galleries and are present in public and private collections. Since 1966 he has been exhibiting permanently at the Strasbourg Gallery in Milan. (Source from Wikipedia)
His models of reference? “The Sea, the wind, the sky” – Rodolfo Viola responds enthusiastically. Impressionist masters call them in the fragmentation of light and irregular composition of the strangest hues. Then metaphysical in their dark and gloomy immobility and also an expression when cloud takes on figurative transformations exasperated.”
