History of Your Farm and Garden
The Hibbs family passion was gardening, and they turned that passion into a farmer and garden lovers’ resource and delight.
The business was eventually sold to Robert Albritton. This change of ownership wasn’t just a random sale. By choosing Robert, a descendant of local pioneers who founded the Albritton Fruit Company in the 1880s, Hibbs ensured that Farm and Garden would remain a family-owned business dedicated to providing you with good old-fashioned service and attention to detail.
Many of the on-site team remain the same. If you’re looking for something special, or have an unusual issue, their dedicated professionals are here to meet your needs.
They look forward to the next 50 years helping you achieve great growth.
Customer Reviews:
“It was my first visit and now my go-to place for all my gardening!!
We came in pretty much right after opened. The night before was freezing temps (Friday night) so everyone was placing inventory back outdoors, working together to make sure plants were in right spots for sunlight. And even though busy, every single person said “hello” and asked if we needed help ☺️ All of the plants look so happy & healthy!! Everything is so organized with a large variety of inventory!
Thanks for having a wonderful & beautiful local garden shop 🥰🪴 see you soon!!” – Virginia Bright
“I had such a great experience thanks to Savanah and Mr. Mark! Savanah was absolutely wonderful — she took the time to help me pick out all the right plants for the day and really made sure everything fit perfectly with what I was looking for. Her knowledge, patience, and kindness made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Mr. Mark was just as great — he was extremely kind and went out of his way to help me load everything into my vehicle. His positive attitude and willingness to help really stood out and made my visit even better. Overall, they both went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. I truly appreciate their help and would highly recommend them to anyone! – John Bart
“This was my first time at this nursery as it’s a little out of the way for me. It’s been a couple months, and all purchased plants are thriving with 1 or 2 times up potting. I don’t remember the last time I had such success with nursery stock. I can highly recommend red pentas, beautiful curly spotted coleus, purple celosia, and a purple angelonia. I even had great germination on the seeds I purchased. I’m usually focused on edibles; however, these were hard to resist and I’m glad I didn’t.” – Kayce B.
“Exceptional customer service and patient for those of us who are not green thumbs. Paul walked me through everything I would need for purchase and care, Debbie (I think that was her name!) was great with taking an order on the phone. Will come back for sure!” – Stephanie Haggan
“This place is amazing. The selection is great, the plants look healthy and the staff is sooo incredibly helpful. Shout out to Bob who walked around the whole outside plant area with us in the heat to give us information on the plants and load them for us on a cart. This place is fantastic.” – Jana Tomczak
