Here is Sarasota it is our pleasure to present to you Schnitzel Kitchen authentic German food. Before coming to America the owner was a Chef in Germany for over 25 years. Upon arriving in Sarasota, she realized that Sarasota lacked a restaurant with authentic German food. This is where idea of Schnitzel Kitchen started, and 4 years later this came to be.
As a trained chef in Berlin and restaurateur throughout Germany, Kerstin has been influenced by all of the regions to come up with her recipes. German food is home cooking, and she provides you exactly what she serves on her own table. There is no American twist on the food, you get authentic German food every time.
She has taken the thought of home even into the decor of the restaurant. Bringing in pieces that she would have in her own retreat, she wants to make sure you feel the same as she does – comfortable and relaxed. Come and enjoy our German Haus.
Schnitzel Kitchen would like to invite you to have a taste of good German home food at the family restaurant.
Wir wünschen Guten Appetit!
“Great restaurant! I was born and raised in Germany and can vouch for the quality and authenticity of the food. Make sure you make a reservation though!!” – Dean Garcia
“My taste buds had a party! This was German food as good as my Oma use to make! I am so glad we found this place. It will definitely be on our “must go to place” from now on. Amazing food.” – Suzy Tays
“Great Little Secret. My husband and I tried Schnitzel Kitchen for the first time. We tried the potato pancake appetizer. My husband says they were the best he’s eaten in years. We had different versions of the wiener schnitzel, both were wonderful. The red cabbage side was very tasty, as were the carrots and apples. My husband liked the potato pancakes so much he got another on the side.
We got the last serving of the plum cake for dessert. AMAZING! It is a family business, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. We’ll go again and take friends.” – Dana C.
