Hap’s Cycle Sales
Hap’s Cycle Sales has been a family-owned and operated business since 1948. Their dealership is old school where customers actually go to hang out and buy, and where the employees actually ride motorcycles, ATVs, and scooters. At Hap’s Cycle Sales, you’ll find owners actually work at the dealership. You can talk about your technique and watch him work on your bike. They have trained and certified staff from the brands they sell. The sales staff are there to help you find the right product without pressuring you. All the staff have a passion for motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs and scooters.
At Hap’s Cycle Sales, the Bixler family and their staff are powersports enthusiasts, and they are excited to help you experience the fun and adventure that a quality Honda vehicle can bring into your life! They are a powersports dealership serving the Sarasota area, offering the best in new and pre-owned motorcycle and other powersports vehicles. Their friendly and knowledgeable sales, financing, service, and parts departments are ready to offer outstanding service at every point, from assisting while you’re making your choice to ongoing maintenance and customization. At Hap’s Cycle Sales, they value the opportunity to create a long-term relationship with our customers, and they do that by making sure to exceed your expectations.
You can buy a Honda, BMW, Triumph or Zero from any dealer. And you can get a good deal from any dealer. What makes Hap’s the place to buy is their customer service, small business feel, knowledge, friendly staff, and fun atmosphere.
How do they stay small and sell big? It’s simple: years of experience of providing the “South’s Best Service”. At Hap’s Cycle Sales, their mission is to offer you the latest in parts and products, at the competitive prices, and with unparalleled service. They pledge their best efforts to make your experience both beneficial and enjoyable. Once you give them a try, we’re sure you’ll be back for more!
Hap’s Cycles also has a small museum, filled with history, motorcycles from yesteryear, racing memorabilia and many trophies and awards. It is free and you can bring children to see it.
Customer Reviews:
“I’ve been doing business with Hap’s since 2007. Over the years I’ve purchased two new motorcycles from Hap’s, and they’ve handled 100% of my shop service. Their service has been clearly outstanding.” – William Corrow
“Haps Cycle is a rare find these days. It is a family owned, family run business and they treat their customers like family. They are competent and trustworthy. Bobby and his daughter Lana are personable, friendly, and reliable. You could not put yourself in better hands if you are looking for excellent service or purchasing a new bike. I live on Marco Island, a 260-mile roundtrip from Haps, yet I am happy to drive the distance to see them, knowing I will be well taken care of. Trust is a very important issue for me, and I completely trust Haps.” – Thomas B.
“A small hidden treasure. Hap’s Motorcycles in Sarasota, Florida is one of those places one is glad to have taken the time to seek out. It is a family-owned business and has been doing business since 1948. It is the type of dealership that “used to be”, where the people are interested in you as a person, not just a customer. I called the dealership from Virginia and bought the cycle based on photos.
Everyone in the dealership is friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. Now…to the travel part. Upstairs, in the office, is a small, but fun and informative, motorcycle museum. Motorcycles from yesteryear – some restored, some in “as ridden” condition – that you can walk up to and inspect at your leisure, a large, red Honda Goldwing with hundreds of thousands of miles on it, in pristine, unrestored condition; Triumphs, Hondas, and other marques, all with a story to tell; racing memorabilia displayed on walls and shelves telling other stories. As noted, the museum is small, but worth the trip. An added bonus is, if you are touring (and not in a hurry), you’re only a few blocks from highway US 19, which will take you up (or down) the cluttered coast and away from the nondescript channel of the interstate. Stop at Hap’s. Take your time to visit with the people and the museum. Take a step back to a more relaxed and enjoyable time where people take their time and look at you as more than a pocketbook. While you’re there, look at the motorcycles, ask questions, and, if the mood strikes you, buy one. I did.” – Mike M.
