Welcome to the Jungle Gardens Sarasota. Jungle Gardens is one of the oldest attractions in Florida. Once you enter, parrots will greet you at the entrance. Make sure to talk to the African Grey, named Fortune. She is in the admissions office. She is quite a character. In the gardens, you’ll see all kinds of animals. Alligators, giant turtles, a wallaby, a huge Emu will surprise you. You’ll also meet different exotic birds, raptors, an iguana and lemurs. All the animals at Jungle Gardens are either rescued or donated. Hand-feeding beautiful flamingos is a highlight of the Gardens. If you are lucky, seasonally, you can even see flamingo chicks.
