Artisan Jewelers is a custom design jewelry boutique showcasing designs both sophisticated and edgy. Where old world craftsmanship and artisan techniques as old as the Bronze Age mesh with today’s urbane, cosmopolitan and eclectic jewelry design. In three simple words: Works of Art.
At Artisan Jewelers you will work directly with the owner/designer/goldsmith Leann Feldt who has been creating fine jewelry for over thirty years. With a degree in metalcrafts and jewelry from Rochester Institute of Technology, School for American Craftsmen, Leann has worked on lathes the size of a car, hand raised a sterling bowl using techniques refined by Paul Revere and fabricated sculpture using a torch with a five foot flame. One of her student pieces won recognition and was displayed in Tiffany’s. In 1993 Leann started her business doing repair work for other jewelry stores and opened the retail business the following year. Since then she has won numerous other design awards and continues to push the boundaries of handcrafted fine jewelry.
If you are looking for eco-friendly options, they work with the nation’s largest supplier and refiner of gold and platinum. This makes it possible to offer custom designs in 100% fully refined recycled gold and platinum. They also work with ethical suppliers and can offer Fair Trade Gemstones and Canadian Diamonds.
Their focus is on creating an inspirational environment for those who love old-world quality and modern jewelry design.
“Beautiful, unique and reasonably priced for very fine jewelry. I love her pieces. The place for something special. Buy off the shelf or custom design your own.” – Nancy K.
“I really enjoy working with Leann, she is currently designing a pendent for me. I love she’s sharing the process with me and makes sure I’m happy with it. I can’t wait to see my very first custom designed jewelry.” – Hsin Hsin Hu
“I have nearly a dozen of Leann’s creations, many custom designs. They garner more compliments than any other items from my collection. My only complaint is that they moved out of my area code. Apart from that–fabulous jewelry!” – Claire Ortwein
